Canon used to make a two element lens called Canon 240 C-8, that is excellent. Some of this can be corrected in software but it is simpler to use a good lens to start with. If you must use a closeup lens, +4 of whatever, that most of them, if not all, of the single element lenses produces a lot of Chromatic Aberration around the perimeter of the picture. Now that things have settled down and not everyone think I am nuts, I have to explain.
